Welcome! I graduated from the ANU School of Music in 2010 and have more than a decade of experience as a professional musician, ensemble director and educator. I've studied and performed with many notable musicians including John Mackey, Sandy Evans and Miroslav Bukovsky.
I am a Tutor at the ANU Open School of Music (Music for Colleges) and my previous experience includes being a Performance Teaching Fellow at the ANU. I have also worked as a classroom teacher and band leader in many schools in the ACT.
My teaching focuses on the fundamentals of saxophone technique to improve tone, phrasing, articulation and range. Students can also expect to learn music theory, sight reading, aural skills, performance preparation and improvisation depending on their preferences.
