Born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, guitarist Trent Gerard Carroll was exposed to music from an early age, thanks to the influence of his mother, a pianist. Told it was “just a phase” when he picked up the guitar at age 11, it clearly was not. Beginning his studies in earnest, the instrument became his inspiration, as he would perform in school concerts and events at every opportunity, progressing over time to cover and original gigs in his hometown.
Traveling 9,349 miles to Los Angeles, he enrolled at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Rock, blues, pop and beyond – with a guitar as his passport, Trent has made a trans-continental journey to a destination of vibrant musicality and significant shredding.
