Vivian Chen is 27 years old and is currently working full time as a secondary teacher. She attended Strathcona Baptist Girls' Grammar School, on a music scholarship. Vivian has been teaching piano to students of all ages for more than 9 years and has multitudes of experiences tailoring individual lesson plans to everyone with a passion to learn.
With qualifications such as L.MUS.A, A.MUS.A, M.Teach, VCE Music Performance, Vivian has also appeared with famous pianist Alan Kogosowski's piano concert at the BMW Edge Theatre Federation Square, local and national newspapers, radio and eisteddfods. Having played at various Melbourne function spaces, including Melbourne Recital Centre, Hammer Hall and Melbourne Town Hall, Vivian is an experienced performer who has developed many skills in performance.
Vivian also works at a music school located in Hawthorn and Eltham that teaches students of all age and levels. She is extremely passionate with her music and would love to help others in the community to play piano!
