William Jeong is best known as a saxophonist, pianist, composer, arranger in an assortment of bands and have worked closely with various composers, film-makers, songwriters, dancers, and improvisers. He is also a multi-instrumentalist as well as a producer, an engineer, and a film composer.

He has a Masters of Music in Jazz at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, also has a Bachelor of Music degree in performance from both the Massey University in New Zealand and The New School Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York. At the New School, NY, he also has worked as a live⁄studio recording and sound engineer.
