Trumpet Lessons

Hello!

I'm a professional trumpet performer and educator with over two decades of experience as the Co-Principal Trumpet of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra. During that time, I was also an Artist Faculty member of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory in Singapore for 12 years. I have also served as the Principal Trumpet of WASO, and have performed with the Sydney Symphony, Singapore Symphony, and several other orchestras in the Asia Pacific region.

I love sharing my enthusiasm for the trumpet, and helping those that have a desire to learn. Fundamentals play a large part in my methodology, as well as a focus on musicality and expression.

I am from Chicago, IL, and my degrees are both from the US. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education (K-12) from the University of Northern Colorado, and Master's Degree in Performance from Temple University. I have extensive audition and solo experience, and am comfortable with jazz style as well. I am registered with TRBWA, and hold a valid WWC card.

I look forward to helping you!
