Willow Giles

My name is Willow Giles and I am an enthusiastic and passionate musician. I have been playing percussion for more than ten years and am experienced in both orchestral and popular percussion.

I have a Bachelor of Music (Performance) majoring in Classical Percussion from the Queensland Conservatorium. In 2018, I was awarded my AMusA in Percussion, as well as my AMEB Music Theory Grade 5 with Honours.

I have performed with numerous ensembles and bands, including the Queensland Youth Orchestras (both Wind Orchestra and Youth Symphony), Brisbane Excelsior Band, SHEP (State Honours Ensemble Program) and the ACSMF (Australian Combined Schools Music Festival).

I offer teaching in classical percussion and drums, as well as music theory, aural skills and basic music skills/introduction to music.

I am located in Annerley and am able to teach around South Brisbane.
