Emily Winter is currently studying a Bachelor of Music (Honours)/ Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland, majoring in cello performance under the tutelage of Patrick Murphy. She is passionate about educating the next generation of musicians and fostering a love of music in a welcoming learning environment. She has seven years’ teaching experience, specialising in cello (BMus (Hons)) and music theory (AMEB Grade 5). Emily performs regularly with several ensembles in the Queensland music community, and draws upon her experience of solo, chamber and orchestral performance to enrich her teaching.
Anna Winter is completing a Bachelor of Music at the University of Queensland under the tutelage of Patrick Murphy, with her dual component being a Bachelor of Science. Anna specialises in teaching cello (CMus), piano (CMus) and theory (AMEB Grade 5). Anna has performed with multiple ensembles within Brisbane and enjoys sharing her passion for music. Anna has taught a variety of school-aged students (Grades 1-11) and enjoys helping them find their own passion in music playing too.
