Affordable beginner-intermediate violin lessons!

Whether you're working towards an AMEB exam, a competition, or just learning for fun, you're in good hands. I have extensive teaching experience. I have experience teaching groups and individuals of all ages.

For beginners, my teaching style is inspired by the Suzuki Method. This means learning real pieces of music (Bach, Mozart, etc.) from the very beginning. It means learning by listening to the music, and only reading the sheet music as a supplement. Memorisation comes naturally and learning new songs is really fun and exciting!

Students will have the opportunity to perform together in a studio class every few weeks. This gives a sense of achievement and motivation as learning by doing is the easiest way to improve!
