Violin Lessons Professional Violinist

I am a highly accomplished violinist with 18 years of experience performing with esteemed ensembles such as The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia in Melbourne, and the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. In addition to my performance career, I have seven years of leadership experience as Head of Music and Music Coordinator in Perth, where I developed extensive expertise in both primary and secondary music curricula, as well as instrumental education in violin and viola.

Currently, I work as the Primary Music Coordinator, overseeing the music education of more than 250 students from Class 1 to 7. I offer instruction for all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced students pursuing AMEB exam preparation or those learning for personal enjoyment. With over 33 years of teaching experience, I am deeply passionate about music education and have inspired thousands of students, as reflected in the consistent positive feedback I receive from parents and students alike.

I hold a degree from the Ankara State Conservatorium (1991) and, after emigrating to Australia, continued my studies at the Melbourne University Victorian College of the Arts – School of Music, earning my Honours Degree in Violin Performance in 1994. In 2013, I obtained a Graduate Diploma in Education from Monash University.

My performance career has taken me across Türkiye, Australia, Italy, and Spain, where I have played in solo and orchestral concerts with prestigious ensembles such as the English National Ballet, The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the Ankara Opera and Ballet Orchestra. I have also had the privilege of collaborating with renowned artists including Andrea Bocelli, Anthony Warlow, Marina Prior, David Hobson, Kate Ceberano, and James Morrison.

I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons.

I am based in Clarkson and teach in my home.
