Patient cello teacher with many years teaching experience, both as a private tutor and cello teacher in private/state schools.

Students will be taught not only to play the cello, but also essential sight-reading and counting/rhythmic skills. Useful tips on orchestral playing will be shared. The teaching is focused on enabling the student to learn to play a piece of music independently on their own accurately and fluently. Students are welcome from beginners to advanced, playing for exam or leisure. Ad-hoc/holiday lessons are available for students who are preparing for exams, performances, or for students who just need some brushing up on their technique and/or other aspects for improvement.

Theory lessons for AMEB Grade 1 and Grade 2 levels can be arranged during holidays or term time.

Piano accompaniment for exams can be provided for all instruments up to AMEB Grade 4 depending on availability and pieces.
