Yiting Wang

Yiting Wang studied Bachelor of Music (Flute, Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of James Kortum and Rosamund Plummer, supported by the Dylis and Milton Renham scholarship. Throughout her tertiary studies, Yiting played in masterclasses with renowned flautists Erin Bouriakov, Kate Clark, Emma Sholl and Jacques Zoon. Yiting is an alumnae of the Sydney Conservatorium Rising Stars program, where she studied on scholarship in 2016-2018. In 2019, she was selected to perform in the HSC’s “Encore” and HSC Showcase.

Yiting has also been involved with many young orchestral programs in Australia. She began her orchestral journey with Australian Youth Orchestra’s Young Symphonists program in 2015 and was Principal Flute in 2018. In 2019, she participated in the Australian Romantic and Classical Orchestra’s Mannheim Symphonists program. Yiting was previously Principal Flute of The Sydney Youth Flagship Orchestra from 2021-2022. As of 2023, she is Principal Flute of the newly formed Sydney Concert Orchestra.
