Rondo Music School (Piano Accompaniment)

Rondo Music School
I am a Master of Music graduate (Performance and Pedagogy) from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, The University of Adelaide, specialising in piano performance and teaching. I am based in Stepney, East Adelaide, where I run my own music studio with a team of over 10 experienced professional teachers, offering a wide range of music programs.

I have been learning piano for over 30 years and have more than 20 years of teaching experience. I hold ATCL (Distinction), LTCL and DipABRSM diplomas. Over the years, I have taught students from beginner level to diploma level, ranging from as young as 4 years old to adult learners. Many of my students have achieved outstanding examination results, won prizes in local and international competitions, and a number have gone on to become piano teachers.

I am currently an appointed AMEB Examiner and provide specialised preparation for AMEB, ANZCA, ABRSM and Trinity performance and theory examinations.

I have been invited to speak at piano pedagogy conference in Australia and Malaysia, and to conduct piano teaching workshops in Singapore.
As of 2025, more than 60 students/groups from our studio have received awards at the Adelaide Eisteddfod, with additional achievements in other competitions nationally and internationally. Several students have also successfully obtained music scholarships from private schools. Students are offered performance opportunities from time to time, including concerts at Recital Australia and participation in masterclasses with renowned musicians/pedagogues.

In addition to classical piano, we also offer jazz, modern and pop piano lessons. I also have extensive experience in solo and accompaniment performances.

Courses offered at our music school include:
Piano, strings, saxophone, drums, guitar, vocal, Kinder Beat and theory lessons.
Students aged 4 and above, including adults, are welcome.
