My music journey started when I enrolled in Music School in my home country of Lithuania in 1991, where I studied Piano Performance, Sol-fa, Music Literature and Ensemble for 8 years.
I was accepted to the Conservatoire of Music in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, which I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Piano Pedagogy and Concertmaster in 2004.
After immigrating to Australia in 2004, I worked at several Music Schools in Brisbane, including IKMS – Inna Kogan’s Music School (2005-2007).
In 2007 I became a Music Teachers’ Association of QLD member and started running my own music school teaching Piano and Music Theory to this day.
Between 2007-2022 I had the honour of being trained by Zohara Rotem, a pianist, internationally acclaimed lecturer, educator and a Suzuki Teacher Trainer.
During my time with the Suzuki Music Association QLD, I had continuous training in Suzuki philosophy, methodology of teaching, Piano Repertoire, Parent Education, Piano Technique, body awareness and child development with many tertiary and international Suzuki Music mentors.
I was a member of the Suzuki Music Association QLD council in 2021 and took part in organizing and playing piano accompaniments at student concerts.
Since 2017 I had the privilege to train with Brenda Hunting, a certified Piano Instructor in the Taubman Approach, an approach to playing the piano that facilitates freedom and technical ease at the instrument.
