Zoë Loxley Slump

Zoë Loxley Slump first became excited about music at the age of seven, when she was asked if she wanted to learn the recorder. Since then she has studied the flute, clarinet, piano, piccolo, and oboe, whilst having vocal lessons and singing in choirs. Her excitement growing into passion, Zoë auditioned to attend the Conservatorium High School in Sydney, where she completed her Higher School Certificate and blossomed into a fine young musician.

Zoë is now a third year student at the Australian National University, studying oboe performance. She holds the principal oboe position with the Canberra Youth Orchestra and the ANU Orchestra, and performs regularly with Canberra music organisations including the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Canberra Philharmonic Society, Everyman Theatre Company, and the Canberra Choral Society. Zoë intends to continue sharing her passion for music through performance and teaching.
