Trombone Lessons

It is my firm belief that strong music education and effective teaching methods are vital to the development of young musicians. I have experienced first hand what quality, caring, guided music education can provide for students. I believe I teach in an enthusiastic and nurturing manner which allows each student to reach their full potential in a fun and relaxed environment. I am encouraging of my students and tailor a personal lesson plan and practice schedule for each student based on their previous experiences and personal skill levels. I generally teach through the AMEB syllabus, however I am also able to provide non AMEB focused lessons. My knowledge and experience of Chicago and American West Coast Schools of brass pedagogy paired with training in accent method breathing has helped guide my studies of brass playing. I bring this experience and expertise to my teaching, valuing the pedagogical technique and skills I have learned.
