I am very happy to give out in person or online lessons!

I will be offering the following types of lessons:

Piano performance coaching/weekly lessons
Preparation and one-off coachings for auditions for overseas conservatories
Sight-reading
Chamber/Instrumental music coaching

My teaching philosophy:

I aim to inspire and encourage the student to think deeply about the music and what every piece you play means to them personally. Therefore this comes to my method in teaching music interpretation. Playing music is also a matter of problem solving, especially dealing with technical difficulties. Therefore I see practice not as a routine but an experiment or a chance for problem solving, which becomes my method in teaching mastery of technical skills. Both aspects can come together to make the most complete performance one can hope for.

Conditions of study:

• Age 10 or above
• 5th grade to LMusA (AMEB standard)

(Students need not obtain a 5th grade or above certificate but should be working around pieces at 5th grade level and above)
