My name is Aimee and I am passionate about live performance and song writing.
- Currently working at AMEB grade 7-8 flute.
- I have completed VCE Music Styles and Composition and VCE Music Performance for Flute in 2017.
- Currently studying a Bachelor of Music and Secondary Education at Monash University.
- Selected to compose for 'Stories in the Wall' with Arts Centre Melbourne.
I began playing the flute in 2005, gaining certificates up to AMEB grade 5 before completing my VCE Music Performance unit in Flute, working at grade 7-8. I have engaged in contemporary voice lessons from 2010 and guitar lessons from 2012, specialising particularly in singer/songwriter material (including my own work) and fingerstyle playing. I have played many of the songs I have written with a pop/rock band in which I played guitar, sung a mixture of lead and backing vocals and also occasionally played keytar too. At the moment my main focus is working in a duo, in which I primarily sing lead vocals, performing at weddings, events, restaurants and festivals.
