Learning how to play the electric bass guitar was a bit of a natural progression for me since I started with a Double Bass (Bajo de Arco). Playing the bass is not really a difficult thing to do once you know how to play the guitar. Learning some techniques, however, might be challenging to some students.
In teaching electric bass guitar, I follow the Progressive method book series especially for beginners because it has a very user-friendly approach in introducing the different sections of each lesson in a progressive manner.
