Saxophone lessons

Hi, I'm a professional saxophonist with over 15 years experience in solo and accompanied performance, ensemble work, playing, writing, recording a vast array of genres and styles and teaching.

I teach beginner to advanced students of all ranges and ages. My teaching approach involves assessing student strengths, weaknesses and requirements, and prescribing appropriate and helpful exercises and practice techniques to ensure great development. Most of all I encourage students to enjoy what they're doing. I cover fundamental and technical playing requirements, music theory, aural training, sight reading and notation, and provide a warm playing and learning environment. It is essential that students can enjoy as well as see the benefits of their work.
Generally I take lessons at my address, as well as travel to Ivanhoe, Doncaster, East Doncaster, Templestowe, Bulleen - generally the eastern suburbs.
Lesson times are negotiable.
