Oboe Lessons

First and foremost music is something that should be enjoyed. To maintain enthusiasm and to ensure consistent practice it is essential that students enjoy their lessons and the music they are learning. For this to happen, the fundamental technique or playing the oboe is needed and requires some continual attention and maintenance through exercises. It is then up to the student to let me know what their goals are, so that we can achieve them, whether it be through classical or more popular music; to achieve AMEB exam grades or successful tertiary entry. I am available in the afternoons/evenings as well as on weekends to give lessons.

Since 1999 I have also supplied oboe reeds to retail shops and students throughout Australia, and is well respected amongst his colleagues as a professional reed-maker.
