Suzuki Violin lessons and free instrument hire

I teach violin according to the Suzuki method and syllabus. The suzuki method trains a person to learn music through listening, developing one's musical ear. I encourage students to use this skill to play whatever they hear, outside the Suzuki syllabus. Students learn to improvise and create music of their own, just by listening to and experimenting with the instrument. I foster a highly free and self-directed model of learning, to guide a person to learn to play music they enjoy listening to, and explore their creative potential rather than stick to a set structure. This being said, the Suzuki method and syllabus provides a strong foundation of physical and aural technique to enable exploration and improv.
