School Band Direction / Conducting

I am a brass teacher and conductor with extensive experience (25 years) of playing all styles of music - classical, jazz, brass band, big band, orchestra, pop/soul. My performance CV is available on request.

I teach all brass instruments with my main areas of teaching being trumpet and trombone. I also teach euphonium, baritone horn, tenor horn, bass trombone, tuba and sousaphone. I am a registered AMEB teacher and can coach and advise on all aspects required for examination.

I am a certified graduate of the ABODA Jerry Nowak Conducting course and am currently the musical director / conductor of the senior concert band (Performance Ensemble) at Normanhurst West Public School and St. Joseph's College (Hunters Hill) Brass Ensemble.
