Frankie is a Brisbane-based composer and pianist holding a Doctor of Musical Arts and BMus (Hons Class I) majoring in composition. Experienced in teaching at a primary, secondary, and tertiary level, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of music through education. As a pianist, she has premiered new works by Australian composers and featured as a studio recording musician, most recently participating in a team of leading Australian pianists for Easter at the Piano Mill 2025. Her compositions have been performed locally and internationally.
As an educator, she emphasises the role of creativity in developing piano skills through improvisation and composition. She enjoys teaching piano (classical and contemporary genres), composition, and music theory.
