I am a pianist and composer holding a Doctor of Musical Arts and a Bachelor of Music with Class I Honours in Music Composition from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University. I am based in a home studio in Moorooka, Brisbane.

I specialise in teaching composition and songwriting to a range of abilities. In my career I’ve composed chamber music, orchestral music, created jingles and scored short live/animated films. I’ll tailor my lessons to your composition goals to help you create the music of your dreams. For both adults and young students, we’ll investigate form, structure and harmony; writing interesting melodies; learn how to improvise in different genres; and learn how to write down your music so you can share with others. I'm also happy to help school students with music class composition assignments!
