Eileen Jonsson was born and educated in Brisbane. She has qualified for her Performers Diploma Associate Trinity College of Music A.T.C.L. and Graduate Diploma of Music Education at Q.U.T.
She been teaching private students since 1995 and been a member of MTAQ.
