Emma Vu

I am a passionate, experienced musician who graduated from Balwyn High School as music captain, and started studying Biomedicine at Monash University. I play piano to a diploma (A.Mus) standard and am an experienced trumpet player and singer. I have performed internationally for trumpet and voice, touring places such as America and winning awards such as the Lead Trumpet All-Star at the All-State Jazz festival in 2022. In my spare time, I arrange and write music for piano and voice, uploading covers on YouTube and releasing original music on Spotify. I have been teaching for more than five years now, with numerous piano, trumpet and vocal students. Currently, I have 30 students aged from 3 all the way to 40, and I work teaching music at primary schools. My teaching involves a strong mix of aural skills, music theory, practical technique and performance confidence. Please email or leave a text message for me if you are interested! :)
