Trumpet Lessons - Free 20min Trial Lesson

I am a passionate, experienced musician who graduated from Balwyn High School as music captain, and started studying Biomedicine at Monash University. I play the trumpet to a AMEB 8 level and have performed internationally in Jazz competitions, representing Australia in a tour to Boston, Chicago and New York in 2019. I have also represented Balwyn High School's most senior Jazz and Concert bands, being Lead Trumpet for numerous years and winning prestigious awards such as voted best trumpet in the All-Star Big Band at the All-State Jazz Festival in 2022. I have performed in various parts of Australia and have great experience with Jazz solos, despite being taught with classical trumpet. I additionally have performed at prestigious venues as Lead Trumpet such as Hamer Hall. I have experience with a number of junior pianists at a young age. My teaching covers theory, aural skills, performance etiquette and technical confidence that will produce well rounded students. I am happy to support casual learners as well as support students in undertaking AMEB exams. Students must bring their own trumpet. I can help apply valve oil if necessary.
