Toddler Music Classes

Jungle Tots/Friends - 18 months to 3.5 years

In Jungle Tots and Friends your child will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of percussion instruments and explore concepts including fast & slow, high and low, soft and loud.

A wide range of equipment is utilised in class activities to enhance enjoyment and participation including parachute, scarves, various percussion instruments, puppets, felt pieces and soft animal toys. Classes include directed creative movement, singing, dances and other circle activities.

This may be the first learning experience that will encourage your child to focus and engage in directed tasks. Support your child by being calm and patient in the first few weeks as your child gradually learns how to discover, gains confidence in these new surroundings and understands how the lesson flows.
Non-musically, your child will be picking up vital skills in listening, co-operation, following directions, exploration, confidence, social interaction, language development, body awareness, gross & fine motor skills and co-ordination.
