I am a passionate cello teacher and performer currently training in the Alexander Technique. I have experience with Dalcroze Eurhythmics and keenly listen to each student's needs and desires around their cello playing. Proficient with beginner to advanced cellists, I encourage improvisation and play in the lessons to enable students to claim their own musicality.

As for my own practice, I use looping pedals and enjoy collaborating with other artists across disciplines. I have a firm grounding in classical music training and performance from the University of Queensland.

I offer private lessons from my studio in Glaziers Bay and can travel to Hobart and surrounding areas for an extra cost.

Alternatively, join me for an online cello lesson via Zoom. No special equipment required, just a laptop, iPad or phone.
