Teaching since 1999, I own “Musical Journeys”, teaching violin, viola, conducting, basic piano and music theory.
As an experienced string player, I have served both as concertmaster and Principal. I have advanced understanding of string technique, having studied violin pedagogy with Lyndall Hendrickson OAM, Kaj Ingerslev (Denmark). My studies have been with Keith Crellin, Glynne Adams, John Gould and Nora Whitehead.
Qualifications:
M.Mus (Conducting), Melbourne University, with Prof. John Hopkins OAM OBE
Grad. Dip. Ed (Sec.) (S.A.C.A.E.) – on Postgraduate Scholarship
B.Mus (Perf.) (S.A.C.A.E.), majoring in Viola (Studying Musicianship with Stephen Whittington, Historically Informed Performance with Dr. Warren Bourne)
