Teaching since 1999, I operate “Musical Journeys”, teaching violin, viola, conducting, basic piano and music theory. I scaffold students of all ages with technique and knowledge, nurturing them along their own musical journey. My lessons with instrumental students include Aural and Theory, advancing holistic comprehension of the language of music.

As an experienced string player, I have served both as Concertmaster and Section Principal. I have advanced understanding of string technique, having studied violin pedagogy with Lyndall Hendrickson OAM, Kaj Ingerslev (Denmark). My studies have been with Keith Crellin, Glynne Adams, John Gould and Nora Whitehead.
