  • BMus (with distinction)
  • AMus (AMEB)
  • Certifcate of Performance (AMEB)

With the last name ‘Reed’, it was inevitable that Isaac would become a saxophonist. Performing and educating in Meanjin (Brisbane), Australia, he holds a Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship to support his Bachelor of Music studies at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (QCGU). Isaac
recently performed a series of Australian works at the prestigious XIX World Saxophone Congress in Gran Canaria, Spain.

Isaac recently made his orchestral debut performing Milhaud’s ‘La Creation du Monde’ alongside renowned Ensemble Q musicians including former Australian National Academy of Music director Paul Dean and Queensland Symphony Orchestra concertmaster Natsuko Yoshimoto. Performing with warmth, sincerity and flair, he has held principal positions within the QCGU Wind Orchestra and Queensland Youth Orchestra Wind Symphony. Isaac also performs regularly as a member of Cosmos Sax Quartet, recently playing in a masterclass for Europe’s Signum Saxophone Quartet during their MusicaViva tour.

Guided by renowned saxophonist Dr Martin Kay, Isaac has a strong passion for inspiring the next generation of music lovers, teaching at schools across Brisbane while also growing his own studio in Woolloongabba. After a busy day of teaching and performing, Isaac enjoys reading all-things history and watching crime dramas on the ABC. For more information, please email isaacreedmusic@gmail.com
