Electric Bass Lessons

Ivan is passionate about teaching the electric bass.
His enthusiastic, friendly and focused demeanor creates a comfortable and centered learning environment. He teaches electric bass in a variety of styles to students and approaches teaching from an individual needs perspective.
he will organize individual lesson plans tailored to each student’s requirements to attain a well rounded musical education. This can include:

• learning repertoire, tunes and songs
• technical work(scales etc.)
• improvisation
• aural training
• arranging
• theory
• rhythmic exercises
• developing feel and groove

He has also studied Alexander Technique with one of Melbourne’s leading practitioners. This has helped him to develop a deeper understanding of the ways to correctly hold and play this instrument.

He teaches from his studio in Macleod, Skype and Zoom lessons also available.
