Guitar Lessons

The guitar is one of the most fun and accessible instruments to learn with an incredibly fast learning time! Before long, you'll be playing songs and even singing along!

My primary styles are in rock, heavy metal, pop and classical, on both the electric and acoustic guitar. I play with Ibanez guitars, Laney amplifiers and Boss multi-effects, available for you to use in lessons.

Whether you are simply learning for fun, to tackle that next exam or to prepare for that school concert, whatever your goals are, it would be my pleasure to guide you on your journey. My teaching revolves around an individualised learning plan based on achieving your needs and goals by developing a confident technique, an in-depth understanding of repertoire, historical context, theory and aural skills in a fun and happy learning environment. Musicians of all ages, from the very young to adults, are all welcome.

I've taught children from as young as 4 to adults who have never played in their lives but are just too eager not to try! I love working with each student individually and nurturing them into musicians. There is music within us all! It allows us to emotionally communicate and express ourselves and I hope to foster this love for music in all my students.
