James Dawes

Music is the universal language and it can be used in any state of being and emotion. It's a tool in which to express ourselves, in the current state of mind or period in your life to where you'd like to be or to ‘go’. Its also an amazing way to open up neural pathways by using different parts of your brain, which in turn enhances your school learning and/or work life!

My name is James Dawes, and I am a 27 year old Guitar / Bass/ Drum / Percussion / Piano/ Keyboard / Synth / Ukulele Tutor!

I am a skilled and experienced musician with over 5 years experience in both performance and teaching.

I graduated from the Elder Conservatorium getting my 'Bachelor Of Music' degree in 2016.

I have taught in many primary schools, both public and catholic and have been apart of teaching institutions such as 'Australian Rock and metal Institute' and 'Learning Through Music'.

I get great joy and reward in doing what I do. I love building great relationships with all students, watching them progress gives me great satisfaction.

I love teaching students of all ages and skill levels! I teach both electric and acoustic guitar, bass-guitar, and drums. I can many styles and genres!

I currently teach out of home in my home studio in Fulham, but am also happy to come to you if it works with my schedule!
