Guitar Lessons

Music is the universal language and it can be used in any state of being and emotion. It's a tool to express ourselves, in the current state of your life to where you'd like to be. Its also an amazing way to open up neural pathways by using different parts of your brain, which in turn enhances your school learning and/or work life!

My name is James Dawes, and I am a 28 year old Guitar/Bass/Drum/Ukulele/ Piano tutor!

I am a skilled and experienced musician with over 5 years experience in both performance and teaching.

I graduated from the Elder Conservatorium getting my 'Bachelor Of Music' degree in 2016.

I have taught in many primary schools, both public and catholic.

I get great joy and reward in doing what I do. I love building great relationships with all students, watching them progress gives me great satisfaction.

I love teaching students of all ages and skill levels! I teach both electric and acoustic guitar, bass-guitar, drums, ukulele and piano. I can cover all styles and genres! And even offer AMEB classical exams if students and/or parents wish.

I currently teach out of home in my home studio in Fulham, but am also happy to come to you if it works with my schedule!
