Music Theory Lessons

I am a freelance flautist, private music teacher, and arts communication professional who regularly performs with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. I am also an alumna of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the University of Sydney where I completed a Bachelor of Music (Performance) with First Class Honours (2018), and a Master of Media Practice with High Distinction (2023).

At the Conservatorium, I studied under James Kortum (Lecturer in Flute, Syd.Con), Geoffrey Collins (Principal Flute, ASO), Emma Sholl (Associate Principal Flute, SSO), and gained extensive experience in solo, orchestral, and ensemble performance performing as principal flute with the Sydney Conservatorium's Symphony Orchestra. I hold an LMusA and AMusA in flute performance, which I received in 2019 and 2015, respectively.

As a private flute and theory tutor, I have more than 9 years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced, primary to mature age, both privately and in schools across the North Shore (PLC, Waitara Public, Turramurra High, Normanhurst West). Current WWCC.

Lessons are tailored to meet the individual needs of each student, whether preparing for AMEB exams, selective high-school entry auditions, youth orchestra auditions, or playing for fun!

I currently offer one-on-one lessons from my home studio in Asquith or online.
