Piano Lessons

For exam students (AMEB and ABRSM), lessons include a structured focus on sight-reading, rhythm counting, scale work, and music theory—essential skills that not only prepare students for exams but also develop well-rounded musicianship. Even for casual learners, I always encourage incorporating these fundamentals into lessons. A solid understanding of rhythm, scales, and theory helps students play more freely, understand music more deeply, and progress more naturally. Music theory, in particular, is something I truly enjoy teaching. I aim to make it fun and engaging through interactive learning and regular questions. There's a real joy in seeing students recall and apply what they’ve learned and that is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me. *I also provide lesson plans each week to track progress!
