Cello Lessons for Adults

Hello :)

My name is Louisa and I love helping adults realise their dream of playing the Cello, whether you learnt another instrument as a child and want to try something new, are returning to the cello after a hiatus, or are completely new to music.

Taking on a new challenge such as learning an instrument as an adult can be scary, but I promise to help you see it will be one of the best decisions you’ve ever made. There are so many reasons that now is the right time to take the leap! Developing a new skill, taking the time to do something just for you, setting a good example for your kids, having fun, and so much more!

I'm encouraging, enthusiastic and passionate about music and teaching the cello. I have been a musician nearly all my life, have studied performance and pedagogy at a tertiary level, and have many years experience teaching the cello to enthusiastic adults. I also regularly perform around Adelaide and Australia as a member of a number of musical ensembles.
