Cello Lessons for Children

Hello :)

My name is Louisa, and I love inspiring young musicians to discover the joy of playing the cello. Whether your child is completely new to music, has played other instruments, or wants to build on their existing cello skills, I’m here to support their musical journey.

Learning an instrument can be a wonderful adventure for kids, and I promise to make it an enjoyable and rewarding experience. From developing creativity and musicianship to building confidence and having fun, there are countless benefits to playing the cello. I take a holistic approach to music education, focusing not just on technique but also on fostering a deep love and appreciation for music.

I have been a musician nearly all my life, studied performance and pedagogy at a tertiary level, and have many years of experience teaching cello to enthusiastic students. I also regularly perform around Adelaide and Australia as a member of various musical ensembles.

Whether your child wants to prepare for AMEB exams or simply play for pleasure, I’m here to guide them every step of the way.
