Violin Lessons

Michelle Pritchard (Urquhart) is passionate about teaching correct violin technique and music reading from day one and inspiring young children through to adults with a love of music.
With 35 years worth of teaching experience, Michelle has taught students on a one to one and group basis.
Michelle was violin and viola tutor at the Central Coast Conservatorium for several years before becoming a joint founder/director Strings Alive Academy in 2013.
Michelle now runs her own private studios in Hornsby, St Ives and Mangrove Mountain.
She has tutored the youth in sectionals of symphony orchestras and was also Director of a Saturday String Ensemble with the Central Coast Conservatorium.
Michelle is a regular performer on both violin and viola in Solo, String Quartets and Symphony Orchestra concerts and in July 2015 went on a recital tour of Italy, also performing in the U.K.
