Musical Child programs were first developed in South Australia by Carol Biddiss M.Ed, a qualified and experienced curriculum writer, and her team. The programs are research-based resources promoting the early learning and development of children through music. Updates and new programs are constantly being added to the publications.
The programs have been structured around the developmental learning stages of babies and children aged 0-13months, 1-3 years and 3-5 years. The programs are in line with Australian and international curriculum frameworks.
The programs are implemented by presenters in child care centres, kindergartens, community centres, libraries, private homes, and at family-centred events and arts festivals in over 35 countries around the world.
Orders for our educational resources come from early childhood professionals, teaching and training organisations, and parents based in Australian cities and remote communities, as well as countries such as U.K., Canada, the U.S., United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, China, Malaysia and Thailand.
Musical Child’s presence has enjoyed solid growth since 2003 and now includes regular live presentations in locations around Adelaide, other regions in Australia and several provinces in China.
