Marianne is a Classical pianist with 15 years of experience teaching classical piano and piano for leisure from beginners to advanced levels.
Marianne achieved CMusA Diploma for piano and has been playing classical piano for the past 15 years and is currently teaching at her private home studio. She was offered a position at the prestigious University of Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Marianne is a high achiever and excellent at motivating and guiding students to achieve exceptional results, especially for those that study music in primary and high school. In her high school years, she was nominated by her school as an exemplary student in HSC Music 2 in year 12, additionally being selected for inclusion in the Sydney Catholic Schools HSC Performing Arts Digital Showcase. She is able to prepare students for AMEB exams (up to Grade 8), HSC music programs, performance preparation and music studies for leisure. Marianne carries a plethora of musical knowledge of genres, styles, techniques, and skills into her teaching. Marianne is passionate about all musical styles and believes that it makes up a person’s identity. She enjoys teaching and immersing herself in music activities in her spare time, particularly playing in the church choir and performing when available.
