Nicola Yu

Hi! I’m Nicola, a recent graduate from USYD.

• started playing the violin at age 4 and earned my LTCL qualification (comparable to the final year of an undergraduate degree) in Year 10.

• extensive performance experience in orchestras and ensembles, serving as concertmaster of the Hong Kong Youth Strings (2019-2021) and currently playing with the Sydney University Symphony Orchestra.

Teaching experience: taught students from aged 4 to adults in one-on-one/group. Experience working in different music schools.

Students have achieved excellent results in AMEB exams and competitions.

Please note: I am currently accepting weekend students in Pymble or Ryde (or nearby areas). For weekday evenings: areas incl Caringbah, Hurstville, Beverly Hills, Kogarah, Miranda, and Sylvania Water.
