Having recently completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, I won a first violin position in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra before accepting a first violin contract position with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Whilst studying in Brisbane, I maintained a busy teaching schedule of around 30 students of all ages and abilities, preparing them for AMEB examinations, recitals and school scholarship auditions. I am currently a full-time member of the second violin section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and have also performed extensively with the Australian Youth Orchestra as concertmaster. I have competed in and won major prizes in competitions across Australia, including the Kendall National Violin Competition, the Australian National Concerto and Vocal Competition, the Vada Jefferies Prize and the Matilda Jane Aplin Prize.
