Violin/Viola Lessons

I am currently a permanent member of the second violin section in the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. After completing a Bachelor of Music in Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, I won a first violin position in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra before accepting a first violin contract position with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. I have also performed extensively as concertmaster with the Australian Youth Orchestra. Whilst studying in Brisbane, I maintained a busy teaching schedule of around 30 students of all ages and abilities, preparing them for AMEB examinations, recitals, eisteddfods and school scholarship auditions. I have competed in and won major prizes in competitions across Australia, including the Kendall National Violin Competition, the Australian National Concerto and Vocal Competition, the Vada Jefferies Prize and the Matilda Jane Aplin Prize.
