Picking up the guitar at the age of 13, Pat never looked back, quickly becoming proficient in blues and rock styles. Pat attended the Australian Institute of Music (AIM) where he received a Bachelor of Music. He has a deep love of classic and indie rock, adoring Led Zeppelin and Jeff Beck, as well as, The Strokes and Foals. While at AIM Pat developed an interest in jazz, idolising the likes of Kurt Rosenwinkel and Julian Lage.
Post AIM, Pat has becoming an active member in the Sydney Music scene, playing in bands such as Wolves in Fashion, Calling Mayday, East Denistone and Hollie Col. He has toured nationally several times and opened for the likes of The Superjesus, The Rubens, Lepers and Crooks, PLTS and Slowly Slowly.
Pat joined the team in 2015 as a multi-instrumental instructor before he started directing show the following year.
