Shimona

Shimona has travelled through the international musical landscape over a span of almost two decades, and is a versatile and accomplished singer and voice coach with recorded releases such as Simply Shimona, and A Walk With My Shadow.

Before recently moving to Gold Coast (Parkwood), Shimona caused waves in the Melbourne swing scene with her swing jazz band, Shimona & The Cat's Pyjamas (now The Swinging Cat's Pyjamas), and has performed at jazz festivals and headlined at renowned jazz clubs in Melbourne such as Paris Cat.

Having mentored/trained up beginners as well as recording artists and live performers, Shimona has a background in education and psychology, and is one of the most effective voice teachers, with a good balance of fun, practicality, and her caring nature.
