Guitar Lab

I'm currently taking on new students at my teaching studio in Thornbury.
As a teacher, I believe in helping you understand music and be able to play what you want, whether that is reading and/or writing music, playing a variety of chords, playing solos, uncovering the structure and theory behind what you play, learning how to improvise, or as simple as being able to accompany yourself singing or learning music basics. I have been teaching people of all ages and welcome people from all backgrounds.
I hold a Bachelor of Music (Improvisation) from Monash University and a Cert IV in Leadership and Management, I also hold a current Working with Children card.
Other teaching credits include being a member of the YOWO music team – mentoring young women and GNC teens, nurturing confidence and highlighting a viable pathway to a career in music.
I am passionate about teaching and aim to create a positive learning environment. Lessons will be based around students’ interests, learning styles and goals.
All levels from beginner to advanced.

I teach out of my home studio in Thornbury.
