Violin Lessons

Hi, my name is Stevie Maston and I have been playing the Violin for 15 years. I have been awarded my diploma (AMUS) in violin performance and 5th grade musicianship by AMEB. I am currently in a 3rd year of studying a Bachelor of classical violin performance at the Sydney Conservatorium of music. I have worked with Sophie Rowell (concert master of Melbourne symphony orchestra) and many other experienced musicians. I have participated in youth programs with professional orchestra's such as; Australian Youth Orchestra, Australian romantic and classical orchestra, and Queensland symphony Orchestra. I was a concert master of the string orchestra in Queensland Conservatorium's SHEP program in 2019 and was also a member of the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra for 3 years. I have studied under some of Australia's best pedagogues such as Janet Davies, Michele Walsh, and Spiros Rantos. I have also studied the Alexander Technique (a technique which is taught in the royal college of music). I am experienced with helping younger students through my leadership roles and have over 4 years teaching experience. I teach beginners to advanced students (Preliminary - Grade 8 AMEB) at any age with passion, kindness, and respect and welcome you at all of my lessons.
